VGChartz is delaying last week numbers... may be that not only an USA adjustment is comming.

The original article even states that "But retailers have told MCV that PS4 remains in control, and that Xbox’s recent success has been aided by shortages of Sony’s console."

That was weird reading the original link, which was an article quoting what the original article said.

the truth is P.S.4 is hard to get hold of, in check Argos in store and do post code search its almost out

I searched all the Manchester stores and 4+was available which is a ridiculous inventory to keep if accurate

I'm guessing it will be same situation across U.K.,

Not sure about this.  They are reading minds arent they?  They are assuming the if someone cant find a PS4 they will buy a ONE.  Thats interesting and means my thread of 13 v 33 had a great deal of merit.

In that recent thread tough many people said that it didnt matter. Nobody who wants a PS4 would buy a ONE due to stock shortages of the PS4... they woud simply wait.

So which is it?  Are PS4 sales being lost to the ONE due to shortages or arent they?   If they arent then why are the sales levels of the ONE being aided?


How about Xbox 1 is selling well because people want it, and PS4 would be selling even better than it is if more were available?

Maybe all they mean is aided in winning weekly sales because PS4 is not selling at its full potential due to stock.

So are people buying a ONE instead? and thats why the sale are higher?

Anyhow.  Sony better get their shit together.  They are failing in this regard.


Agreed Sony is losing out on Sales because of theri "production issues" I am not sure if they are doing on purpose or not but they need to fixit asap. Because it is hurting more than it is helping.

None the less this is great news for the XB1 seeing as the UK is it's second strongest market!

The Xbox One's current price is very competitive to the PS4 and there is more value in it (with Kinect and a game included). It would make sense that if someone that wants to buy a console (not a person dead set on a particular one), and one is in stock- he'll purchase it.

It can also be that people that want a PS4 can't get one, while people that want an Xbox One can easily get one. Naturally, the sales of the Xbox One would be greater than the PS4.
