I kind of liked Hyperdimension Neptunia for my first playthrough (second playthrough made me hate the game) although I tried to think of something else around the range of 50 that I liked, and couldn't name any :/.
The biggest problem with metacritic is it's influence in gaming and how people view it. the scores themselves don't do anything.

Well the average person just looks at high scores as something worth checking out.
However, some people take scores personally. As if a scores determines whether or not they should enjoy a game. That's just stupid.

Is my sig telling people they should enjoy? I'd argue no, but it points out the quality of 8th gen has been disappointing. I think most agree.
