8 8 20.00%

7 6 15.00%

4 0 0%

3 0 0%

2 2 5.00%

8/10 Better than 13 and lightning returns, though it is still an abomination to the once proud Final Fantasy name that 13 helped destroy.

This is my favorite FF game so far. Absolutely loved it, only complaint is I wish it had more Lightning :(

9.6/10

Obvously not a Final Fantasy Vet I guess.

this isn't the first time QTE's were in a battle. Not that you said it was.

They were in both FF7(Tifa's Reals), FF8 (Squall's Limit break, Zell's Limit Break), and FFX Tidus, and Auron.

I thought they were implemented better than all of those... But ofcourse they're still QTE's.

Oh I didnt consider those as QTEs though o.O.

Never thought of that xD!

Me neither! But I guess you're right, although i still prefer the old QTE's. Not so much happening at once so you still can get an understanding of what is going on on screen. (my biggest gripe with the current QTE's in FF is that I have no time to enjoy the movement on screen because i am focused on the damn triangle symbol flashing)

I gave it an 8 btw.

I really enjoyed playing the game although I am still no fan of the paradigm system. The story and characters also mean little to me as opposed to most of the previous FF's.

But, the time-travelling, customizing your monster, the side-quests and soundtrack made it a really enjoyable experience.
Ah and maybe the lowered standard since XIII and lack of great (personal opinion) rpg's helped a bit.

edit: a minute ago i ordered FFX, I shouldn't but i couldn't resist...

Keep those RPG reviews coming

Because of your review I will give it another try. I was a bit Lightning tired because of XIII!

If you played any of the others you would instantly see why FF13 saga is lame, though it would have been better if you played them when they first released since now some of them haven't aged very well.
