Nobody at Nintendo cares

I guess she counts. All she does is treat me like poop in Nintendo Land, though.

Yeah Ive decided to not look up any maps or walkthrus for this game, so I have no idea where to find the screw attack ^^ I have idea where to go!
I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!
Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

As it should be. The biggest mistake I made as a kid playing this game is that I always went to the wrong boss first. Later I realized my mistake and found the game much easier. There are so many paths to go by in the game, and even more in the sequel. Keep at it, don't give up.

I first played/beat this game in a single 16 hour sitting, having rented it from my local video store. My friend and I pulled an all nighter and completed the game probably at around 65%. Needless to say I was blown away. Metroid on the NES had been my favorite game up until that point and this sequel did not disappoint. Several years later in college my household (two guys/two girls) rediscovered the title and went about searching for all the items. This was before the internet, or just as the internet was taking off and we were determined to find everything without help from strategy guides or phone calls to Nintendo's help line. Of course we were able to find everything and celebrated this victory by trying to get the lowest time. My person records are 1:31 100% ending and 1:11 any % ending. I'm still waiting for a remake or re-imagining of this title, although I'd probably prefer a brand new game with the same graphical design. Happy Birthday, Super Metroid. May the etecoons forever frustrate the novice initiate, teach the apprentice, and guide the masters to more sequence breaks than we'll ever know! |
I have been saying they need to make a sequel to this game, like they did the Mario bros. Nintendo however needs to add a achievement system. This would add life to the Wii U.

Happy Birthday to one of my favourite video games of all time! In fact, it's my second favourite game of all time, just right behind Metroid Prime :D
