That's interesting. Why the decline in the CAD?

(i'm going to let this one stay open since it's more currency fixated)

I would guess it is because the US economy is doing better, generating more investment, and therefore driving down the Canadian currency.

Every currency in the world isn't valued at the same? God damn Sony, what have they done.

Should point out that here in Ireland some games cost 70euros now which is far higher than the USD equivilent, just gotta deal with the country you live in, some things are cheaper some more expensive.

When it comes to Europe pretty much all countries except the UK have game prices that are pretty high.

The Bank of Canada decided to drop the dollar by 10 cents to keep its key interest rate steady, yet try to lower inflation. Thats what I see from articles I look up

Good on them to not try to strangle growth with a higher interest rate, though i fail to see where inflation is a problem anywhere in the West right now.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Whats still interesting is that the wiiU and X1's prices have not gone up yet so thats something to think about for sure. (Even though they might go up eventually)

I am wondering if that is because of demand / supply.  If retailers need to restock, they would purchase at the current price, and set their prices accordingly.  If retailers still have some stock bought at the old price, they wouldn't need to adjust their prices.

North America needs a single currency. Canada and the US are both each others largest trading partners so it makes sense to do so. Also Mexico is USA's third largest trade partner. This can eliminate the problems caused by currency fluctuations.

I think that would cause alot of problems, example being when Europe adopted the Euro

So...X1 is not too far up anymore is it? interesting.

Its actually cheaper with a game now considering the Titanfall bundle. If I wouldn't bought mine at 400$ I'd order a xbone right now.

Still waiting for someone to actually commend MS for keeping the price the same lol

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

According to what MS are saying they have no plan on raising the price of the xbone in Canada.

Last paragraph ;)
