With increases for both the PS4 and the X1 in the UK, what would the sales be this week going by VGChartz?

Xb one should drop by about 50% this week. I'm picking there are thousands of inFamous bundles sitting in back rooms ready for Friday, and there should be stock that's also released for the weekend. So I expect at least 11K again in UK for PS4. But stock issues means they won't be able to meet all demand. A global launch of inFamous is going to put significant strain on PS4 supply. As many people love to point out PS4 has no worthy AAA exclusive games on it (one could argue that Xb one is remains in that situation), and inFamous is likely to be the first AAA game both in quality and production, so there will be many people looking to get PS4 this weekend. I know I am, and I have my inFamous bundle pre-ordered, it is also $50 (NZ) cheaper than buying PS4 and the game separately, so it's effectively a temporary price cut, not quite a giveaway but a bloody good deal nonetheless.

On a side note, I've decided that since I'm signing up to PSN+ AND Tomb Raider PS3 is free on PSN+ this month I won't be getting the definitive edition for PS4 after all. I mean free and good looking > expensive and great looking. That's my motto with games and women

Agreed. It really is going from "cute, look at the demand can't find them anywhere" to "gee wouldnt it be nice to capitalize on the demand before they start lagging behind"

I mean they will finally have Infamous, Killzone and a constant flow of quality PSN games to really warrent a purchase regardless of hype from launch but we are sitting here going on 4 months post launch and they still can't get their shit together.

It really hurts Sony because once the launch buzz finally ends consumers on the fence will eventually start buying the console thats available and this early in the generation there really is starting to be a parity in software. Honestly between Ryse, Forza, TF, and Dead Rising anyone on the fence has no reason to keep holding out for a PS4 if they cant get them on shelves. Granted I have no interest in an Xbox One and was lucky enough to get a launch PS4 but the aforementioned games trump Killzone and Infamous IMO to a general consumer looking to get into next gen gaming. Could be a problem if it lasts for too much longer.

Serious, now. It appears that for some people the success (or failure to fail) of the Xbox One is disconcerting and disturbing, and they will do everything to downplay everysingle point MS scores.

NeoGaf in the last week has been a very funny place to read those people freaking out, grasping ever single straw for the PS4 unquestinible supremacy.

Well Xbox 1 is technically doing well on its own merits but yes, at least you understand!

X1 sells more when a blockbuster releases. PS4 merely has to exist :P
