Forums - Gaming - Your top 10 most hyped crowd funded games?

This is kind of simple, list the 10 games you are most hyped for that are being crowd funded (kickstarter, indiegogo etc.) You can also list released games and give us all a discription and why you are hyped if you please. Anyway here goes my 10.

Honorable mention to start things off goes to Project Giana which was successful and ended up as Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, I own it but am yet to play it.

10. Koe (声)

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/297265509/koe-a-jrpg-with-japanese-at-the-core-of-gameplay?ref=category

A JRPG made to teach you the Japanese language. While cool in concept the initial video for it is unimpressive and its obvious the game is in its early stages.

9. Unsung Story

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/482445197/unsung-story-tale-of-the-guardians?ref=discovery

A rich, diverse Tactical RPG, envisioned by the master of the genre Yasumi Matsuno, Playdek, and you, the fans!

The only reason its not higher is because it didnt make the stretch goal for Vita, I have no plan on playing this on mobile or PC so I guess Im left to pray for a port.

8. Pier Solar HD

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/573261866/pier-solar-hd-an-rpg-for-xbox360-pc-mac-linux-and?ref=discovery

Pier Solar was originally designed and developed for the SEGA Mega Drive & SEGA Genesis. It was actually the only newly developed game for SEGA's 16-bit system in the new millennium. It's not a port, fan translation, or a copy of any other game. Pier Solar is a 100% brand new, entirely original,16-bit RPG. Now it will be available on a variety of modern consoles aswell as PC and Android.

7. CRYAMORE

6. Soul Saga

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/disastercake/soul-saga-a-j-rpg-inspired-by-playstation-classics?ref=discovery

A love letter to J-RPG classics from the Playstation era like Final Fantasy, Breath of Fire, Suikoden, and Persona.

Coming to WiiU, PS4 and Vita, sorry Xbox owners.

5. Shovvel Knight

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/yachtclubgames/shovel-knight?ref=discovery

Shovel Knight is a sweeping classic action adventure game with awesome gameplay, memorable characters, and an 8-bit retro aesthetic. It's a hot mashup of new and old that may remind you of Mega Man, Castlevania, or Dark Souls! You play as the eponymous Shovel Knight, a small knight with a huge quest. Shovel Knight has come to this valley with two goals: to defeat the evil Enchantress and save his lost beloved. He wields a ShovelBlade: a multipurpose weapon whose techniques have now been lost to the ages. Always honest and helpful, Shovel Knight is a shining example of the code of Shovelry: Slash Mercilessly and Dig Tirelessly!

4. A Hat in Time

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/jonaskaerlev/a-hat-in-time-3d-collect-a-thon-platformer?ref=discovery

Anyone who owned an N64 should want this game, just take a look at it. Its 3D platforming at its finest.

3. Shantae: Half-Genie Hero

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1236620800/shantae-half-genie-hero?ref=discovery

WayForward are making a new Shantae game, how can you not be excited for some 2D platforming genius. Although I must say Ive never played a Shantae game before, Australia never recieved the DSi game =(

2. Project Phoenix

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1300298569/project-phoenix-japans-indie-rpg-feat-aaa-talent?ref=discovery

Project Phoenix is a JRPG with a squad based RTS game design, brought to you by veteran developers and creators from the East and West. Also Nobuo Uematsu =D

Platforms: Mainly for Windows, Mac and Linux via Steam and their website, PLAYSTATION 4 and VITA. iOS and Android will have a different version to the PC counterparts due to limitations.

1. Mighty No.9

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mightyno9/mighty-no-9?ref=live

From the genius that brought you Mega Man, Keiji Inafune comes the spiritual successor. I may not have played much Mega Man, in fact Ive only played the 1st and never beaten it. I refuse to play the others until I beat 1 and so Im stuck but from what Ive played I loved it. Mighty No.9 is a fresh start and I cant wait to see what Inafune brings to the table in 2015

All of them

Mmm...other than Migthy No. 9, I rarely get hyped for a kickstarter!

Thank you for letting me know about Cryamore, very interested in it.

I don't have a top ten but I'm really excited about Kingdom Come and Project Phoenix.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

A Hat in Time shows me that there is still hope in 3D platformers.. Hopefully more indie devs start making  awesome 3D platformers since we already have many 2D platormers.

I backed Pier Solar. Really looking forward to that one.

3 so far that I'm excited about: A Hat in Time, Shovel Knight, and most of all, Mighty No. 9

Star Citizen is the only one I've funded (dat Origin 300i fighter), although I'm scared that it's going more and more towards pay to win. Super hyped though!
