For indie games, yes. For retail games, absolutely not (unless you don't like physical copies of games).

Nintendo will of course notify us ahead of time so we can spend our remaining credit.

Isn't that promotion over?

Nope!

Depends on your internet. I just can't afford to at the moment. For example, if i got Titanfall as a digital download. That would take away 50% of my monthly bandwidth.

Physical games are much cheaper on Wii U and you can sell them.

The only advantages are the lack of the disk-spinning noise and slightly shorter loading times.

It would certainly help Nintendo's profit margin if you did.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

but if you dont like the game, all your money is lost.
With physical, if you dont like it, atleast you can sell it again.
Even if it is a game you like, but you have finished with it, you can keep trading in physical games, cant do that with digital.

edit: I should add that it might bite you in the ass in the future though buying physical. I bought wipeout HD physical then for wipeout on vita, the DLC was cross-platform, but I couldnt get it since my wipeout HD fury was physical. If I bought it from the store, then I could have played it on the vita too.

but the chances of something like that happening are very small and do not outweigh the benefits i mentioned above.

All true! However, I'm pretty good at getting games I'll like! The only 2 terribad games I've bought in recent memory are Sonic 06 and Paper Mario Sticker Star, but those were due to blind fanboyism which wont happen again! Also I shouldn't need to trade in games anymore now that I can make my own money, but yeah having the option to is definitely nice!

I went all digital about 3 years ago. Never looked back once. Having so many platforms, the shear room needed for all my games was making it hard not to look like a total slob. Plus once your library of movies, games, music, books, magazines starts to grow into the tens of thousands, it gets old locating, and keeping things in order.

Recommendation: Go Digital

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

It's not that which worires me, it's that games are tied to the same Nintendo console so if it breaks you're screwed (or so I've heard).

I thought that was just the 3DS and they're working on fixing that. Also If register your games on Club Nintendo then you can make a case to get your games back.
