Capcom Co., Ltd.(Capcom) is pleased to announce that its multi-platform title "Devil May Cry 4" has shipped over two million units worldwide. "Devil May Cry 4" is currently available for PLAYSTATION®3 and Xbox 360 home consoles.

The "Devil May Cry" series is a popular stylish action series known for its unique characters and fluid game play. The entire series has shipped more than 9 million units worldwide (as of Feb. 20, 2008), and has become a banner franchise for Capcom.

This week US and Japan numbers of VGC are missing. VGC does see a sell through rate of 1 Million at the moment.

Yeah , today its 1.05 million for the two consoles.

But with US charts + Jap charts + 5 days missing ( 02/15-02/20) , it could be 2 millions

Just because Capcom shipped 2m doesn't mean it's had to of sold 2m yet - it could just merely be that retailers are strapped for DMC4 copies, and have massively re-ordered lots of new copies.

Having said that, that's great news for Capcom, and their next-generation games. Capcom projected only 1.9m units to me sold of DMC4. It's already shipped that many in 3 weeks, which is phenominal.

With sales like that, RE5 might stay PS3/X360 exclusive.

I wonder how many copies were shipped in each platform.

I can see this game selling over 3 million, with the launch of PC version.

Great ,DMC4 is a great game and deserved this .Selling 2 millions in only three weeks is truly great !
