hated the second one, don't like the new direction of the story at all, don't care about EA, and still a little butthurt over Mass Effect 3, so I don't really give a crap, unless it has 95+ metascrore then I'll buy it (when it becomes cheap) to see what's the fuzz about.

About the same opinion, I think even with a high metascore, I will give it a pass.

I loved DA:O and I loved DA2, so buying DA:I is a foregone conclusion.

I hope they keep a lot of the core mechanics from DA2 with a bit more variety and options from DA:O. That would make it just about perfect for me. The story direction of DA:O was bland so I'm really glad we're getting into something interesting with Inquisition.

DA2 was on the right track, it just felt rushed.

I'm in regardless. I was pretty down on DA2. No way this one will be such an obvious rush job. Even EA can learn from their mistakes. Screens look great and it's supposed to be a return to the scope and scale of DA1. Damn I miss that soundtrack, may have to give it a quick spin. WRPGs are looking a bit thin with the Witcher 3 pushed back. I can play as a dwarf again right? I'm pretty sure I read that already. I'll double check.

Thanks for the thread Mr. Solo.

Dragon Age Origins is a great game, best played on the PC. On consoles it's worse simply because the retarded AI and no way to control them properly without constant switching back and forth because of the lack of an overhead view and mouse/keyboard control. Worse doesn't mean they suck though. I played through the PS3 version which is a pretty terrible port, but still made my way all the way through the game. It's a really good game. The only issues with it is how overpowered magic is and the cool down time and slow attack time.

I think the second game actually fixed a lot of issues in terms of combat, even if they did make it more like an action game. Magic and attack are both pretty well balanced in that game. There's much better customization for your characters skills compared to the first game. The part about the second game that sucks is the extremely small world, long load times on consoles(didn't play this one on PC,) and the constant backtracking and doing missions in the same areas over and over and over and over.

Dragon Age Inquisition looks to have the larger world of Dragon Age Origins back, except now it looks like it's fully open world. Combat looks like a slightly slower Dragon Age 2, so still a bit action oriented but I liked that way better, so long as the AI is decent unlike the first games AI.

Won't let me edit from my X1 IE for some reason. Confirmed Qunari as well as Elf, Dwarf, Human. Customization sounds way beefier and they're giving the tactical view that the PC had on DA1 to all platforms. Emphasis on building teams and planning before battles, less button mashing.

I put 75-78 because if the game is a C to C+ grade than it should be good to try.

be taking a look regardless of scores
