As part of a round table article on the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu (the most relevant Japanese gaming magazine), Editor in Chief Katsuhiko Hayashi shared a tidbit of insider knowledge about the current situation of PS4 development in Japan :

"They haven’t announced it yet, but there also are developers that have started to work on PS4 exclusive games. Software developers are moving faster than I thought, and we can expect this to expand in the future."

Considering that Famitsu is known for having extremely close ties with basically every Japanese developer, Hayashi-san is probably the most iron-clad insider we can hear from on what software devs are doing in the archipelago of the Rising Sun.

We already know these projects:

Namco bandai game ( tales of, and maybe more ?)
Team Ninja game
Falcom game
Nippon Ichi game
Level 5 game ( Ninokuni 2 according to thuway )

This sounds cool, who knows if they'll be any good though XD. Any extra support is always great though, so good news.

I expect E3 and TGS to be rather big for PS4 this year. Devs will have to transition some from PS3 -> PS4.

I think we can expect a first TGS at 3DS first TGS level

Cant be a new Tales of, unless its a port of Zestiria. The tales team is busy with Xillia 2 and Zestiria (and in my dreams with Innocence and Hearts R).

I would bet its Ni no kuni 2. Level 5 hasnt put anything out since the first one (only 3DS stuff).

The Falcom game cant be it, because they are busy with Sen no kiseki 2. Nippon Ichi will no doubt pump out another Disgaea, but with the internal troubles its unlikely to be progressing that well. Team ninja just had Yaiba coming out, though i'm sure they are already cooking Ninja Gaiden 4.

Biohazard 7. Exclusive to PS4

Hope to god Sony are preparing The Legend of Dragoon 2. Now's the time for them to launch their own RPG exclusive, now that the Final Fantasy brand is multiplatform and now the FF brand is weak.

It's news since many think( or hope) that because now PS4 has Wii U level of sales, it will have Wii U level of 3rd party support
