Surely a sequel is inevitable now.

Fun fact:

I just checked VGChartz's data, and with six million sold, TLoU is by far the highest selling IP (that is not part of a franchise, license and without any sequels) ever.

New IP?

I'm through with believing VGChartz numbers.

That must have taken some effort to work out.

Cool fact though.

Not at all.

I just scrolled through VGchartz's top selling games until I found a game that had no sequel. I gave up when I was around 4 Million.

Must have done really well digitally! Probably undertracked by a few 100K.

Fucking amazing game, deserves it's success. It's right up there with GT5 & GoW3 as the only Sony made PS3 exclusives that could sell 6m+ with little or no bundling. TLoU didn't even have a holidays release.

ND should drop Uncharted and focus on expanding TLoU & make something else, has far more potential.

-> Wii Sports Resort.

In a way, it was to prove that with such high sales, a sequel is pretty much inevitable.

I think this'll have pretty hefty digital sales. I remember it getting price slashed to £20 (?) during the 12 deals of Christmas.

Oh i see your saying a game that sells that many has always gotten a sequel

Naughty Dog has always been an extremely highly regarded studio among PS fans but I believe this gen they have truly cemented their position as one of the best gaming studios out there. This games success is truly insane.
