BAFTA Games Awards 2014 Winners Announced

The Last of Us was the big winner at last night's BAFTA Games Awards, picking up five of the coveted gongs.

Naughty Dog's post-apocalyptic epic won Action & Adventure, Audio Achievement, Best Story and the highly sought-after Best Game Award, with Ellie actress Ashley Johnson sweeping to victory in the Best Performer category.

Following The Last of Us, both Grand Theft Auto V and Tearaway won three awards each. GTA V picked up Best British Game, Best Game Design and Best Multiplayer, while Media Molecule's Tearaway won Artistic Achievement, Best Family Game and Best Mobile & Handheld.

Other winners on the night included Gone Home, Brothers: A Tale of Two sons, BioShock Infinite, FIFA 14 and Papers, Please. For the full list of categories and winners, check out the list below.

Not sure if this was posted or not but it looks like TLOU won some more awards. For me personally it was an amazing game, witha  gripping story and some strong characters! Glad it is getting the love I feel it deserves in my opinion!

Ashley Johnson's award very much deserved from that short list.

I agree man she was amazing in the game....even with all the excessive cursing she was doing lol. But after playing left behind I see why it kind of fit and why she was that way. And it made me appreciate the ending of the game even more.

So it won every nomination except for multiplayer. Well now Naughty Dog has something to work on^^

Though it's weird because GTA MP is nothing special while TLOU MP is something special and well executed.

tearaway won quite a lot of reviews, sadly it performed badly when it comes to sales due to the Vita's very low sales.

Which is sad indeed because it is a GREAT game! Poor Vita smh....

I agree the MP in TLOU is indeed special and the pace that you play it at makes it even better. Not your typical "run and gun" which is why I really liked it.
