OT: Wouldnt this be bad for Sony. "Oh I can release late on PS but not on XB so Ill work on XB first since Sony will let me"

That would be my thought

Well, since MS has always had a parity policy and Sony never has, and Sony has been burying them alive when it comes to indie support... apparently not.

Sony has too many rules.

Almost clever, except there aren't any decent 3rd party exclusives coming to PS4. Maybe Deep Down...

This pertains mainly to Indie devs. Companies like Vlambeer, Rovio, Gamevil, etc...

You also have no idea what so ever if any 3rd party exclusives are decent until they release. I learned by lesson from Demon's Souls, which was initially thought to be terrible, only to discover it was incredible, and of course one of my favorite titles of last gen Nier. That title of course wasn't exclusive, but it was still awesome.

Good point. I was more referring to the idea that companies go where money is or is being offered. I feel as if Sony doesn't have any major 3rd party games outside indies to use the little jab here. Unless, of course, I misinterpreted what is meant by the comment boyes made.

I <3 Classic Platformers!

Multi-console Owner FTW

Unless you sell a shit load more console than your competitor, then it doesn't matter.

Shots fired indeed

I believe it is aimed at ID@XBOX, which is where the parity clause by MS is aimed, so it most likely only has to do with Indie titles.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

But doesnt microsoft give indie developers free dev kits for agreeing to parity and sony makes you buy the dev kits?

Man, I LOVE SONY, fuck it, I want a PS4.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

If they're accepted into ID@Xbox, yeah. Sony seems pretty free with handing out kits if they're keen on your game, though, so it's more or less the same thing: free dev kits at the platform holder's discretion.
