If you selected the option for your Miis to be shown to others, then I presume it also gets others Miis.

However I thought the Parade is limited to 250 Miis?

I went on my Mii Parade not that long ago and had 800 in it, I now have 1400 2 or 3 weeks later (800 in over a year, another 600 in a few weeks) I got Mario Kart a few weeks ago so it could be the cause of more Miis traveling to my Wii.

If you play online / look at online time trials times, you get more mii's in the mii parade from other Mario Kart players.

BTW: I love the latest tournament. I loved this stuff in the DS game. I wish they had included the same stuff in the Wii version from the get go. Still, it's great to play these types of missions!
