To whoever asked, yes, it will be possible to use the analog stick. Either on the Gamecube controller, the classic Controller, or the Nunchuck. You can also use a Wiimote only, and tilt that as a wheel (but without the wheel) or use the wheel.

I have further proof that the game is likely to be 49-55 dolllars, although, this is not as relevant.

In Norway (where I live, to avoid confusion), games are normally priced the dollar price timed 10 in NOK. The real dollar vs NOK is 1:6, but that is really irrelevant. Almost no games I have bought have been less than 1:9

Now, I could Pre-order MarioKartWii for 459 NOK. They said it was a 40 NOK discount. That means the normal price is 499, or possibly 449, as they could be lying. For the game to be 59.99 dollars, the rate would be 8.4:1 in NOK to dollars. That is lower than any game I have bought. I find this unlikely.

@Maxwell.

Haha! I loved the Melee Failure. It actually fits almost prefectly for Windbane.

@ Windbane

Show me a picture on Xbox that looks BETTER than SMG. Because if you can't, this is the situation

SMG = SMS.
SMS = GC
Therefore, SMG = GC

So if you can't find a picture that looks better, this is the situation:

GC = XB.

Now, we know that Wii is about double as powerfull as XB, so Wii = XB*2.

You obviously didn't read the entire thread neither, as you have said things as "I heard blah blah" when it has already been confirmed with sources here.

"Check out that Brawl thread, btw, because it's all about a stupid score about graphics."

Oh, but this is the only score that has graphical included in GR (as heaps of Japaneese have, but they are not included.) so therefore we are looking at GR. Fact is: discussing graphics when it favours you, or when you want it, is ok. Otherwise, it is all about a stupid score.

And please, you are saying that reviewers aren't nationalistic? They are nationalistic like hell.

"My criticisms began with my disappointment over Mario Kart's graphics from what I've seen so far."

Look at the earlier pictures I've put up. We can't give you more information than that at the current time. You have all you need to "form your own opinion" and all that crap.

And didn't you own a Ps2 last gen (correct me if I am wrong)? Then why do you care whether it looks better than the GC/XB? You didn't chose those graphics then, did you?

Well, let's get away from discussing with Windbane, and get back to MarioKartWii!

I citate: Online info from NOE's website:

With Mario Kart Wii’s launch date of 11 April fast approaching, Wii owners are gearing up for a racing experience unrivalled by any other in the kart racing series. While the game introduces a slew of new features across the board, perhaps most eagerly awaited are its online options, which take the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection action found in Mario Kart DS to a whole new level.

In Mario Kart Wii you can go online via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection by yourself or together with a friend playing on the same Wii console, and let the games begin! You can directly jump into online races with random players Worldwide, or opt for Continental if you prefer a challenge closer to home.

Then you will be placed in a new group of people looking for a match, or you will join an existing group. When the latter happens you will become a spectator of that group’s race currently in progress, as you wait for your turn to hit the track. With up to 12 players being able to battle or race on the circuits of the Mushroom Kingdom simultaneously, Mario Kart Wii is set to provide the biggest challenge in the series to date!

After swapping Friend Codes with other players, you will also be able to see how many of your mates are online, and choose to Create a Room or select Join Friend to gather in a room with your friends before you start your engines.

Once inside a room, the globe familiar from the Forecast Channel will highlight the location of all players present. This is where you can text chat with your friends by making a selection from dozens of predefined messages, letting you suggest exactly which kind of race you want to play: from Battle to Grand Prix, and from Team play to your circuit of choice. The Host then decides the race settings, but the track selection is based on the votes of all players combined.

Mario Kart Wii also allows you to install the Mario Kart Channel on your Wii console. This Channel lets you check up on a host of options without the need of inserting the Mario Kart Wii disc into your system.

The Ranking option lets you see your statistics for each track and compare your results to those of your Friends and other players worldwide, represented by their Miis. You’ll have the option of racing against the Ghosts of the best players, or improving your results gradually by taking on the Ghosts of rivals whose times are only slightly better than yours. Players can choose whether they want to share their Time Trial Ghosts with the rest of the world, allowing you to match your skills against the cream of the crop whenever you want.

Another all-new feature of this Channel are the Competitions, where Nintendo will on a regular basis invite players to speedy challenges similar to the Missions of Mario Kart DS. The Channel also allows you to check your ranking in running Competitions as well as Time Trials. You can also go here to register Friends and see if any of them are currently online.

Many are going to be dissapointed by that one. (Not me however)

Be warned, the blacked below is spoiler filled.

There will be a total of 24 characters, according to Famitsu.

Who is "we," because the only sources I've seen comment on it say it's about the same as the Xbox.

Fact is discussion of graphics is done with most games.

I think the US media in genereal does a fair job at reviewing games. If you have some kind of proof of regional bias with reviewers feel free to come forward with that evidence.

So far Kart doesn't look very good, but we'll see.

PS2 was far closer to GC and Xbox and most games were ported from PS2.

 Edit:  I don't want to clutter this page with a bunch of images, so here are some links to XBox 1 games:

I'm excited about the online features announced so far. I hope they work well.

We was here the people of the thread, but really me, as I'm the one who has been putting up the images.

You know what? I could re-find that evidence, but you obviously have no clue.

And anyway, what I could have done to prove it, would indeed be cherrypicking, because I have no intention of using hours to tell things to a complete fool who doesn't listen. I've done that enough with Crazzy, and you're perhaps worse.

But hey, if it's cherry picking you want.

Check Madden VS Fifa on GR, and the regional reviews. USA favours Madden vs Fifa A LOT in difference to Europe.

But hey, you know what? I think you better not. You'll be better off personally by not. I won't wreck your belief.

Dude, that's because Winning Eleven (aka Pro Evolution) is better than Fifa. Fifa used to score really high until Winning Eleven came around. In fact, checking gamerankings.com just now, it looks to me that the highest averages for all 3 games are around the same.

You do realize that scores change every year I hope?

But hey, calling me a "complete fool" really helped make your point.

That might be, but my point was the the European magazines favour Fifa (or Pro evo) while the American favour Madden, and not on every single on, but in general.

That means that they have different views. If you then add much less European and Japaneese reviews, what is the result?

And you mean that each game gets different scores I hope, because only reviews that come out during first 3 months count on GR.
