Forums - Gaming - Titanfall Seems To Be Selling Systems

Just ancedontal here but I went into my local Best Buy and they had sold at least 8 Titanfall X1 bundles by the afternoon (which is more than they sell in 2 weeks I would say) and a good number of games too. The display of Titanfall X1 stock at the front of the store seemed have moved a decent chunk of their inventory. I saw two high school kids (guessing they went there right after school) buying the X1 version while I was there as well.

I'd have to imagine this is the biggest day for X1 sales since the holiday rush, maybe even launch? Any other retail reports?

Not bigger than launch, but certainly big.

Predicting that Second Son (PS4) will outsell Titanfall (XOne) in lifetime sales.  Click here for sales comparison thread.

Is this even a surprise to anyone? It's such a hyped game, you can expect this..

It's pretty impressive for a new IP I'd have to say though.

How are the X1 stock on retailers?

It doesn't matter for a lot of teenagers if there's cool lasers and epic weapons with super awesome special effects... They don't really  care if it's a new IP or not.

Titanfalls job has been to do this since day 1, it better sell systems. I expect a pretty big week for X1.

At my Best Buy they had 16 Titanfall bundles at the front, 8 of which were gone by mid-afternoon when I went in there.

I'd say they had sold through about 35-40% of their Titanfall X1 inventory (game standalone) at the front of the store too. Harder to gauge that.

Can't wait to see the results!
