That's why I say it's a bit shocking that it would drop that sharply. I think most of the people that wanted just said "screw it". They've successfully killed their own hype.

Agreed, and the PS4 can be a money maker for the company as a whole.

Of course no one wants them to rush it like MS did the 360 early on, but it's still surprising that's it's taken them this long to fix the stock issues they're having.

It's funny how you give only half of the story

It's been out of stock  since Tuesday morning and drop all the way to 12 while being out of stock for almost 2 days. Got back on stock about 8 hours ago.

Then 5 hours ago when you posted it was back on stock it was back on stock for only 3 hours and rose to number 9.

Regardless, the PS4 was in stock when I posted this thread, when I replied to it,(I checked right before I did it) and it's in stock now, so that honestly could just been bunk, but either way, it's great to know that it's still selling.

I always thought from the beginnning that they needed to sell as many as possible before March with the hype around TF out there, but hopefully I'm proven wrong, or better yet, that TF isn't the blockbuster that people thought it was.

Actually NPD has both PS4 and Xbox One selling very well for the month of February 256 k for Xbox One and 285 K for PS4.

And the PS4 have been in stock since the beginning of the month in most places. Although it's sold out fast on Best Buy other retailers are abusing the demand with crazy bundle: Wallmart has one bundle at $630 and another one at $580. Gamestop even had a crazy infamous bunble (extra controller + 1 year PS+ for a single player game with no online lol). 

We will have to wait for TF numbers cause I am surpised that many Xbox One were sold after announcing the TF bundle.

well at least this fk up is better than ps3 fk up and they are still leading in the US which is the main thing
