Yea, well all those games don't seem to be selling X1s so I doubt your point means anything. There's more than enough to play on PS4 and once Sony starts bringing out the big guns it won't even be a debate.

If the Ps4 is selling like this with "no games" then just wait till there are games (not that the people clammering about PS4 no games will ever admit it has games, but you get the point). The huge MP games will be on PS4, Destiny, BF, CoD. That's all Sony needs to continue steamrolling MS. 

People are getting tired of cod, bf same old military shooter formula. Destiny will help but it's also on xb1. You have to realize that mp focused games sell consoles more than any other games. If a friend plays titanfall and they want to play it too what system will they get? Not the ps4. And this effect is the reason xb360 became so popular. This effect is already happening at my dorm and wouldn't be surprised if it's happening elsewhere.

If that were true, the X1 would be ahead and yet that's not the case. The Ps4 is absolutely steam rolling it. And Sony's got the rest of the year in the bag, they've got exclusive marketing for the biggest MP game of the year (Destiny), just like MS had for Titanfall, as well as Watchdogs. If Halo did indeed get delayed and is now 2015, it won't be much help now. And your dorm isn't really an indication of anything, I personally don't know anyone who owns an X1, but that doesn't mean no one is buying them. 

Destiny might also be on X1, but the PS4 will have the marketing campaign. Just like the Titanfall ads don't mention the 360 or PC, Desinty ads will only mention PS4. 

I'd agree with you but the facts say otherwise. 

Yes. They could have sent most of that stock to NA and the UK so they would have stolen X1's strongest territories. Then after a few months they could have sent stock to all European countries, and then finally after a year to the rest of the world.

Not like the sales are going down too much anyway... We will see how it all turns out but the ps4 should continue to sell well through out the generation... I am just wondering how the rest of Sony's company gonna hold up. Will they continue to sell more buildings? Will Nintendo continue to buy more? Should be interesting

Being sold out creates more demand because people see it as a highly desirable product. The game business is also extremely risky. You don't want to ramp up production and when your product could suddenly stop selling so you are left with a lot of excess products that retailers desperately want to get rid of. Also, Sony is not a healthy business at the moment, so taking that kind of risk could do more hard to them than good.

Sony's still doing good, but if they could make PS4's twice as fast they would probably have sold them.

Maybe, but something in me can't help but feel that the hype for the Ps4 is gone now. It's already down to 9th on the amazon best sellers despite being in stock all this time.

I guess people are finally starting to realize that neither system has that many must have games.
