Same here. I consider anything sub-70 to be a thumbs down.

i dont give a fuck what metacritic a game gets, if i want to play it i'll play it.

I used to avoid games that got 70s but now that critics are more harsh, I don't play anything below 60.

Anything below 60 is not worth the time or money,

anything below 88

In my opinion a game isn't bad unless it's below a 4/10. It's got a lot of problems but there can be some enjoyment to be had.

Metacritic score, less than 7/10 is bad. There are a lot of games that score lower than 7/10 that I like, so Metacritic really doesn't matter.

I would say below 60. But i never use metacritic for my purchases.

I watch some reviews and gather information.

Sales sound like a normal day on the PS4 though. xD

Under 80 or 70, it depends.

Under 60 I would be wary. Though saying that Knack got a 54 and I enjoyed it and the Arkham series has done very well and I can't stand it.

If a game went under 50 I would pretty much avoid it unless I could try it out for free first and even then I probably wouldn't want to.

0-59. God awful, but varying ranges of God awful.
60-69. Mediocre. Does nothing special, and a few elements bring the game down,
70-79. A lot of variation in this one. It can be anything from it just wasn't all that good (COD ghosts) to extremely polarizing where some people thought it was great and others thought it was a steaming pile (Beyond two souls).
80-89. Really good games. Wide appeal. Fun. Does at least a few unique things. Most people will enjoy it.
90-99. Amazing games. Best games of the year on the lower end, and games that will be remember forever on the higher end.
100. The best game that ever was or will be made. An absolute perfect game. There is not one bug, plot hole, annoying character, and it has amazing graphics. The permanent Gold standard of games. Unattainably good. This will never happen.
