I haven't seen the 360 version, but the PS3 version is great.

Wiiu is not worth owning, how do i know i own one. MaYbe a great X and future Zelda might help shcange that, maybe. |
"Still opinion, you say great other dont. "
You can't deny the greatness of their games. However we'd need to discuss individual games and why they are so good.
"Wiiu is not worth owning"
You don't appreciate games like 3D World then. Which is fine, but don't say Nintendo sucks because you don't like it.

It is a production where my only thought was to burn my feelings into film. (Hideaki Anno)

Kill la Kill is awesome.
"This game has been like a light finally shining into what has been such a depressing time. I feel like this game has given me the power to go on living," the player wrote. "It's something like a miracle. It's helped me remember pure feelings from a more innocent time. I want to thank the development team."
"As game developers, our work is special," said Hayashida. "All of us here can put smiles on very many people's faces with our work."

Just in case, I was talking about Nintendo as a game maker. If you look at the Wii U it needs a lot more games yes. But what I'm saying is, in the end it will have some of the greatest games. What Nintendo will do with this console will be great. The rest is Nintendo sucking at marketing.

Fuck you, that's why. Nintendo content is superb and well beyond the quality and games-craftsmanship of anyone else. I will always continue to buy their hardware so I can play their software. 3rd parties are largely about fucking the consumer and robbing us blind with a continued downward spiral of the valuation of our products. i.e. they keep offering you less and less while increasing the price, individuall and overall.
This DLC image above is a perfect example of what happens when you're only focus is on short-term gains. Nintendo doesn't do this and likely never will. Its anti-consumer and focuses on giving the consumer a lower end product while increasing the price. Additionally, it ruins the IP. I also refuse to pay for online access. There is no reason for it. PC has lived for decades on free online play for its games AND the games tend to cost less. It is merely another way greedy corps are fucking us. While the rest of you all have your lubed up asses, I'm sticking with Nintendo and its policy of hugs and high-fives. So to 3rd parties (that don't put quality on Nintendo hardware) and MSony, I say rot in hell. |
Nobody cares.

You do realize that the Wii U's full potential hasn't been tapped either right? Oh and it does things in 1080p and 60fps with ease if developers are patient with it (unlike the xboxone), not that I actually care about visuals. Gameplay > Visuals |
If you don't care about graphics, then why are you arguing the toss that WiiU graphics will improve?
...While replying to a post which had absolutely nothing to do with graphics.

Why all the don't care responses? Isn't this web supposed to be about gaming discussions?

Definitely agree that the publishers are attempting to attach a money pump to their customers, and it's negatively affecting game design. Many premium games are actually trying to use the same poison psychology that freemium games use, yet keep their $60 gate fee.
Nothing we can do but vote with our wallet.

QFE. Explains why third party games don't do as well on Nintendo home consoles as on other systems. Nintendo gamers aren't as easily manipulated. |
So people who buy third party games are being manipulated? Nintendo exclusive gamers have been the most rabbid, and I dare say brainwashed, of all the fanboys out there.
Screw it. Here's my real reply to this mess of a thread.
I'm not buying another console if it has "Nintendo" stamped on it.
I love the 3rd party games out there so I won't buy another console that fails to understand the third party ecosystem. Why? Fuck you, that's why.
Nintendo content is stale and old. The quality may be great, but it's the same old gameplay every year. I won't continue to buy their hardware until they learn how to attract more of the great third party software out there.
Nintendo 1st party software is largely about taking the same exact gameplay and slapping a new coat of paint on it. Give or take 3rd parties, it is a large melting pot of good and bad software, and you will find a large variaty of valuable and worthless stuff.
DLC is not good or bad in and of itself, its how each company uses it. Nintendo themselves have caved to using DLC. We are still in the beginnings of DLC and it will take time before things shake out before developers figure out what works and what doesn't.
I also refuse to cater to Nintendo's piss poor excuse of an online experience, there is no excuse. PCs have had a mix of both payed and free online play for its games. Games have been both more expensive and less expensive depending on the game.
While superchunk paints himself into a corner, I'm sticking to a larger ecosystem of 100s of games I like to play rather than the single minded focus of a mere few dozen.
So to Nintendo, I say rot in hell, I'm finally done with you.
