Unrealistic choice

The cost to buy a high end PC: $2000-3000
The cost to buy high end console: $300-$500

There is no reason to be stuck with one gaming machine unless you choose to blow your budget sitting 2 feet from the screen.

I'd choose PC. It emulates past console gens, even relatively recent ones, including handhelds. It plays a ton of older games, and has better graphics for newer games.
