Whaaaa? What did the Saturn do to you? It had great games.
Oh... i see that this thread got socially changed into: The worst consoles you have ever owned. xD

Let me get this straight... while others have listed PS2 and XB1, you decided to single out my post. And no, the Saturn was not a good console. At all. Maybe that's part of why it completely bombed, eh fella? Oh, and no I didn't own it. My neighbor did and I knew within one day how bad it was. I think they were giving away something like 10 games for it just so people would buy it. Still not worth it. Your reply let's me know not to ever take your posts seriously.

Haha, I think the same can be said for your post, for anyone who's ever actually owned a Saturn.
I own a Saturn and it's a spectacular console with loads of quality games, many of which are (unfortunately) STILL exclusive to the system. It had games like Panzer Dragoon, Panzer Dragoon Zwei, Panzer Dragoon Saga, NiGHTS, Dragon Force, Astal, Daytona USA CIrcuit Edition, Fighters Megamix, Shining Force 3, Radiant Silvergun, Guardian Heroes, Burning Rangers, Dodonpachi, Galaxy Force, Saturn Bomberman, Virtual On, Die Hard Arcade, Layer Section and Thunderforce 5 among other games. The Saturn is also the home of the best versions of any multiplatform 2D game of its day due to its superior 2D capabilities compared to the PS1 and N64.
The Saturn bombed because it was very difficult to program for, had awful marketing in the west, and was $100 more. SEGA ended up having to give three games away with it towards the end because the chipset was too complicated to simplify and make more affordable, meaning that they couldn't keep up with the cheaper prices of N64 and PS1. That has nothing to do with it's library, which was spectacular and still holds up quite well. Maybe that's why the system has become a cult classic within the hardcore gaming community? And for the record, the Saturn actually did quite well in Japan, and apparently even outsold the N64. It recieved over 1000 games over there and had plenty of other spectacular games that unfortunately never made it over, like Dragon Force 2, Sakura Taisen 1 & 2, and Shining Force 3 scenarios 2 and 3. Thankfully, many Saturn games are quite import friendly, like Super Tempo, Donpachi and Dodanpachi.
