Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

They shipped ~1 million unit in February... a small month with only 28 days... so it is online with what we know about the production... 1.1-1.2 million per month.

Well, they already produced and shipped 1 million more units than they projected to by the 31st of march and that is/was 4 weeks prior to that date .. I think it's safe to say production is going pretty smoothly.

I don't have fate in projected numbers, it a pretty common issue set a conservative estimate to easily go over that target to satisfy shareholders

I'm not sure about other products or companies, but PS3 often just barely missed the projected numbers.

The PS4 has outsold the Xbox One nearly 2:1 worldwide... Sony must be having some serious supply issues since this number isn't 5:1.

If you consider Sony anticipated 5-6 million from launch to end of March, their current production has them set for 6.6-7 million which would have been perfectly acceptable. The demand is definitely still strong, to this day I have yet to see a PS4 in any brick and mortar outlet while all other system have been readily available.

I would guess Sony is content right now to sell everyone they make for the first 10-15 million instead of ramping up production and possibly having a glut in the Summer and Fall. It is a difficult balance to strike.

They sold 1 million consoles in 24 hours in usa... they started shipping january stock in december to meet demand...they launched in 33 countries... At some point there will be lulls (i.e shipped everything they stockpiled/manufactured). They have sold 6 million consoles, in record time, quicker than any other console... there is no manufacturing issue, just too much demand compared to output. This will start to improve now, for example they dont need to worry about sending 350k to japan, and handle say 60k.... as demand lowers slightly, output will continue, stock will start to filter through.

Making an indie game : Dead of Day!

Why stop there? I think Xbox extremest groups sabotaged PS4 manufacturing facilities, and Sony doesn't want us to know about that. This goes deep guys.....we said too much.
