i would also agree with that, for the price you are getting a great all in one gaming box, a friend said to me hes not all that blown away by the ps4 and that i could get a HD7950 that would beat this, then i asked the question how much is a 7950 and of course microsoft and sony could have used any card they liked but then comes in cost, for a ps4 or xbone that used a 7950 there would easily be a £100 hike in price

so for the money you pay you wont find better imo

but the resolutions will get better, its only start of gen

You could be pretty sure that the 7950 wouldn't give the same result as a PS4 because of the lack of optimization, even by that price. The amount of PC games that are absurdly demanding or suffer with tearing is massive and I say that by experience.

I don't get it. Killzone: Shadow had a pretty big backlash when people realized that the devs were lying. So your comment is untrue.

Maybe if Xbox One games or Wii U had a higher resolution than a PS4 games, then the situation would be reversed. But that isn't the case. There will definitely be more backlash though if devs continue to lie about the resolution of their games on PS4.

possibly, but my point to him was if they had either microsoft or sony stuck a 7950 equvalant the price hike would be huge. but you may have a good point even with the graphics card ive listed below a pc will still struggle on some games due to optimisation as nobody will make a direct 7950 based game

Pretty big backslash, yea some guys in a forum. By the way that was just for Killzone SF multiplayer mode.

You didn't see me complaining about Ryse or Titanfall resolution those are exclusives and in my opinion look great the thing about reso gate is paying 100$ more and getting a graphical inferior port.

No way. There were 1 million 900p threads a day about Ryse.

so what are those pics supposed to be?

The same thing that the crave online article about Thief supposedly running at higher framerate on the Xbone was - bullshit.

Ohh and dear Xbox fans who now wonder why so little posts, everyone is at the weekly sales threads, I don't see you there though

Those numbers weren't up for about 2 hours after that post but, ok mate.

No.

The killzone technique works because the game is 60fps. There are reasons they didn't do it for single player.

Infamous is 1920X1080.

Fom the other thread i gathered that killzone res being 1080 is due to half the fps

If Killzone was a locked 30 in SP and a locked 60 in MP, it'd still be rendering the same amount of pixels per second.

The technique splits the 1920X1080 render into two frames but then does a lot of additional math to make everything still look good.

but as said there it isn't the same as 1080p @60fps
