I always really enjoyed the water and ice stages in the Crash trilogy. Funny to hear what seems to be nigh universal dislike for them here.

Energy. I really want to get into some mobile games. I like quick fun puzzle games. Not being able to play at my pace will just make me uninstall and never play again. Hell I would be willing to actually pay for the damn game if I could just keep playing as I pleased.

Oh God, I hate ice/snow themed stages for the exact same reason. Ugh.

Still, I think the skeevy design tropes in mobile--forced cooldown timers and wait periods, two-tiered in game currencies--are far worse. Useless motion/touch controls would be a close second.

Have some time to kill? Read my shitty games blog. http://www.pixlbit.com/blogs/586/gigantor21

- Water: you become slow and runs out of air. It was a pain in Sonuc where they basically took out your speed.

- Escort missions: RE4. If the AI guy is dumb and has low health you are in trouble. Actually in RE4 I usually shot damn Ashley in the head (pure rage) after losing hard parts because of her incapacity in following me in a simple straight line.

Sprint and Armor abilities in halo.

View kick is also something I hate in everything, but cod.

One hit = dead. That's my least favorite.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

I think QTE's would like a word with everyone in this thread.

The combination of random encounters and having no map when you are in a comlex dungeon... just annoying if you try to figure out where to go and you get attacked every 5 steps...

Motion/Touch control mini games that are tacked on to games... My worst experience was AC Liberation on the Vita: I couldn't open that letter because my Vita did not recognize my sliding on the front and the back screen. Or the sequence where you had to hold the Vita against some source of light to be able to read the secret ink letters. I was riding on a train to Vienna and I couldn't find a light source strong enough and this minigame was unskipable.

OMG i agree here.  i didn't play AC Liberation but Uncharted Golden Abyss had that same thing.  I was, like you, on a train when i ran into this section and also couldn't find a light source strong enough to move forward in the game.  Once i got to work i used one of our projectors and even that barely worked.  took like 3 mintues to "fill" that light meter.  soo dumb.

Really glad it isn't just me that hates ice levels.

Took some of the other popular responces and made a poll out of it.

quick time event sucks.
seems you are not playing, just controling the flow of a video.

i like ice and water.
