Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft’s “Biggest Surprise Ever” Might Be Coming at E3

We already knew that Microsoft’s gears are spinning in preparation of this year’s E3, but we might be in for something bigger than most think, if a report by NeoGAF user EhoaVash is to be believed.

According to EhoaVas, Summerset Mall in Troy, Michigan is holding a launch party from Titanfall at the Microsoft Store and is advertising it over the radio with the following message  ”Free food, drinks and $2,000 in prizes! First 50 people in line will receive a custom Titanfall t-shirt [...] one select winner will receive a free ride and ticket to this year’s E3 to witness Microsoft’s biggest surprise ever .

The event will be held on Monday, March 10th  from 9 PM to Midnight, and will happen across several Microsoft stores in the US.

What could this “biggest surprise ever” be? Or maybe it’s just hype talk to get people pumped for the contest? I guess we’ll know at E3. One thing is for sure, everything seems to point to the possibility that this Electronic Entertainment Expo will be one of the most exciting in years, from all sides of the console war. And that would be very good not only for the industry, but also for us all.

1. I think its a little late for that.

2. I'm already worried that SEGA will drive CA into the ground, undoubtedly I know Microsoft would.

Could it be?

Anyhow, maybe they'll show off Halo 5. That's the biggest thing I can think of, although not very surprising. (Or a XBO price cut, which is also not surprising... or... erm... something else.)

I don't get the shemue thing. There is no mass market demand for a shemnue 3. Just a bunch of old dream cast die hards living in the past.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

The surprise beeing they are selling the xbox division? XD

Seriously though, ihave no idea. They already announced Halo. I dont see what other huge surprise they could have.
