I'm hoping the Sony idea was to send a gigantic shipment out right before Titanfall. It's still in stock at #1 for like 3 days now after failing to stay in for 24 hours ever before, very interesting.

I´d really like to now what are MS´ internal projections regarding the impact they expect Titanfall to have on X1 sales.

Well, the Amazon best sellers list is updated hourly, and the PS4 has remained number 1 for like, 72 hours straight..so I´m inclined to believe that yes, there was a huge shipment.

72 Units a day for Amazon.com would be a lot?  I'm not saying that the PS4 actually sold 72 units a day, but IF it did, that would be absolutely disastrous.  Amazon is huge, and if they were only selling around 500 units a week that would be insanely bad.  Amazon isn't like a local store.  Amazon selling only 72 units a day would be akin to every Best Buy in the country selling 72 units a day combined.

Yeah that amount is just silly.  It's gotta be around a thousand per day, give or take.  An overly busy gamestop like one in Times Square gotta probably do 70 lol

Exactly. I love how certain people flip flop on that argument. PS4 version superior = Graphics don't matter. Someone questions why they should buy an X1 over a 360 = Because graphics.... It's just so hilarious. 

 

The X1 may be a terrible console but at least it's provided a ton of entertaintment and I didn't even have pay a single cent for it.

I know Gears was big, and the first real major title for the 360, but I don´t remember just how huge the impact on 360 sales was, back in the end of 2006/early 2007.

MS might be, for the moment, looking like Sony was just before the release of MGS4, giving the impression, true or not, they´re putting all hopes in one game.
