I know Gears was big, and the first real major title for the 360, but I don´t remember just how huge the impact on 360 sales was, back in the end of 2006/early 2007.

MS might be, for the moment, looking like Sony was just before the release of MGS4, giving the impression, true or not, they´re putting all hopes in one game.
