Knack hype train starting all over again!

Around the Network

Knack is a great game. Its totaly up there with oldschool platformers, and its fun.
Yes thats it, its just fun.
Everyone thinking this game is actualy bad, go see a doctor.
I bought this game with my PS4 as I bought KZ:SF digital and it was great. Actually my whole family enjoys it.
so yeah, its a good game, and its fun. Thats it.

I think Knack looks like a great game! It got its sales from bundling but who cares!? That only means better sales for the game and a possible sequel :).

Thanks for proving a point.

In you post you said "all" stop selling nintendo games.

Do need me to list your revisionist history?

I could name a wholesale of nintendo games that sold over 5-20 million that never had a bundle or very limited bundles.

If your going to say something in defense of argument at least be accurate and be willing to admit your wrong.

You seem to be struggling with english, let me help you.

(remember when ps4 going to sell at least 400,000 more than 3ds launch sales because there is a sign that says  western sales are great! Never heard you admit your wrong there.)

I stated very clearly I expecting 400,000-650,00, this prediction was for the first week, we have only got the numbers thus far for the first 2 days, which is very close to that low end estimate, I never said it would be "400,00 MORE than 3ds" now you're just straight up lying, see my post for yourself.

My prediction still stands at 400-650k ish.

And prior to that I had posted my initial "lowest limit" prediction for the week, which you can see here.

The amount the ps4 is being pushed in electronics stores here in japan I will be genuinely shocked if it doesn't break 250k on launch week in japan alone

So yeah, stop talking bullshit sir.

If the first week numbers come in below the 400,000 - 650,000 estimate i made, you'll get your apology, if it comes smack bang in the middle, then I was right on the money, and you don't get jack.

How? It was completely free.

Yeah, the very bestselling games of a platformholder are the games that were bundled with the hardware (and we are literally talking about some of the bestselling games of all time here)

The same is true for Sony and MS .

...his point was that there are a lot of games that weren´t heavily bundled and STILL managed to sell amazingly (outselling all but a few games by Sony and MS).

Pokemon, the earlier Animal Crossings, the touch generation software like Nintendogs and Brain Training etc.

Lets not beat around the bush here, Knack was a nice addition/ free pack in game, but nobody specifically bought a PS4 to get Knack like ...say... WiiSports, Halo, Mario 64.

knacks success in japan is basically the same as all the top selling nintendo games in history - i direct result of heavy bundling, pretending it isn't is a sure fire way of sticking your head in the sand and pretending the world is different.

Of course, Playstation fans dont like bundling being pointed out as the reason for knacks success, just as Nintendo fans dont like bundling being pointed out as the reason for various mario titles success, their displeasure doesnt make the reality of it any different however.

You do realize people are simply having fun, right? No one is taking Knack's success seriously. The sarcasm is beyond evident in most people's posts. There are a few who are misinformed, but the vast majority is simply being facetious. There is/was simply no other way to buy a ps4, so of course no one is really considering it an actual success. But you're right about Ninty fans and bundled games.
