If Watchdogs Bayonetta 2 fails, third parties are done with Wii U.

Fixed. No one in the industry expects much from the Wii U version of Watch Dogs.

But if Bayo 2 flops hard? That's real bad. That means even if you have Nintendo themselves funding and promoting your game, it doesn't sell.

Then again, if it takes off, it challenges every assumption practically everyone makes about the Wii U and it's fanbase.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

I totally agree with you. But it's true that we have no choice after the fail because we won't see 3rd party support. I bought many Ubisoft games for Wii U but it didn't help. I still hope we will see the next Assassin's Creed on Wii U but... yeah, you know...

I don't hate Microsoft, I don't hate PC,
I don't prefer Sony, I don't prefer Nintendo.
...Ok, I love Nintendo but this is something about tolerance, ok?

I'm a gamer with one of the greatest hobbies and I want to share this greatness with everyone.

That's why you should have bought a new PC instead of the watered down hardware of the PS4/Xbone. Oh wait.

Should be common knowledge that you buy a Nintendo home console to play first party games, it's been like this since 1996. Great third party efforts are bonus.

Step 1: People get watered down ports

Step 2: People buy less third party software

Step 3: Third party software fails

Step 4: Companies put less money into third party software

Step 5: Return to step 1

there nothing wrong with choosing a console over PC,..  but i don't complain about it PC gets a better port.   i'm choosing the simplicity of consoles over PC because a system that "just works" is worth it to me.   PC's are a fucking mess to maintain and upgrade to stay relavant and expensive to boot.  for a mountain of convience i accept watered down ports.

It's not like you have a choice on that system.

edit: for what it's worth,  Watch Dogs will probably be crap no matter the system it's on.

Even if it's 'watered-down', it's probably still a very good game.

Attitudes like this don't encourage 3rd party publishers.

Please understand.

Completely opposite responses amuse me.

See us Nintendo gamers care more about gameplay, Smash is coming out you hear Nintendo gamers talking about what characters are going to be in the game how it will be different from the previous instalment, all you hear from Sony/Microsoft fans when a new game comes out is what the screen resolutions and frames per second are going to be.

When buying any Nintendo console you shouldn't expect much of third parties.

Also, in Nintendo Land, you aren't done with third parties; third parties are done with you.

I totally agree!

Are you really just going to stick with the wii u this whole gen? You are going to miss out on a ton of third party titles like
The Witcher 3
Batman Arkham Knight
The Division
Dragon Age Inquisition
Destiny
Just to name a few.

edit forgot 2 big ones

FF15

KH3
