Your opinion in Tearaway, is that the critics opinion aswell? Tch... you're just trying to skew an agenda to justify your decision.
Its perfectly fine if they dont appeal to you, but many of those games stand above 80 metacritic. Not that metacritic matters for anything though. Recently its down rating good games like Lords of shadow 2 and south park. Commercial ratings are a tricky thing (that pass alot by traffic of influences) and you wont find support for them with me.

watchatalking about? i have no opinion on tearaway, hence my "no idea" comment. didn't buy it, didn't play it, so...no opinion from me on the game
What agenda? If you care to look at my posting history, I was one of Vita's number one fan...sadly, Sony decided that it was ok to just give me a bunch of indies of which there are a million similar games on the App store/Play store.
If anything, I wanted the Vita to sell gang busters..but witht the support that the damn thing is getting from Sony its doing crap...
As I've said previously, I cannot in good concience recommend the Vita to anyone with Sony's aweful support for it. I'm just being honest here.
Let me ask you, can you recommend the Vita to anyone and tell them with a stragiht face that after listing the games that are available now there is nothing really worth while comming out in the near and mid future?
its like saying
hey, buy a vita, it has this and this and this and this
really? WOW! whats up in the horizon in the next few months
....ummm... nothing?
Wut? come now, you sold me on all these neat games out now, whats next?
...ummm...yeah... really... nothing?...
O_o

How about this for a sales pitch....
Yeah, you should so get a Vita it's got some really cool games like Gravity Rush, Ys: Memories Of Celcetia, Soul Sacrifics and Tearaway, all exclusives that are well worth giving some time. It's night and day difference for multiplats on Vita and 3DS, it's like the difference between Wii and PS3; Rayman Origin and Sonic & Sega All Star Racing Transformed look and play so much better on Vita. It's got a great variety too with full console games on it. Seriously PS3 games like Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Amazing Spider-Man, Need For Speed: Most Wanted, Epic Mickey 2, Disgaea 3 and Sly Cooper 4 are all great on the Vita. It really is the home console experience on the move. Then there's the re-releases which are incredible. The Vita is basically a PS2 in your pocket, they've got so many HD Collections and remakes out some of which they've added new modes or sections to, there's; Persona 4 Golden, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection and the Jak & Daxter Collection. Oh, and did I mention they've got a good library of indie games like Spelunky, Terraria, Plants vs. Zombies and a seemingly endless back catalogue of old PSP and PSOne games you can download on PSN, and they're on average £5 each so there's no way you can get bored with the Vita. I've been replaying the PSP version of Lemmings and naturally Final Fantasy VII from the PSOne recently, both on the Vita and they're really good. They upscale everything and have multiple display modes so it looks brand new, better than playing the orginals. Oh yeah, and I've not even told you about the apps, you can use Facebook, YouTube, there's a decent browser, it's like having a small tablet.
Oh what games are coming out for it this year. Well we're getting the HD remake of Final Fantasy X and X-2 later this month, as well as the God Of War HD Collection and Sly Cooper HD Collection shortly after that. We've got a few cool indies like Binding Of Issac, Rouge Legacy, and I hear they're bringing Minecraft over though it's probably just the console version. As for upcoming Vita games, it's hard to say, things are always being delayed and changed (Watch_Dogs anyone), but Mind Zero looks like an interesting RPG, there's a new Guilty Gear XX game due out at some point this year (though it's only got a North American release date, but Vita's region free so that's no biggy), Ragnarok Odyssey Ace is coming soon, and apparently Dynasty Warriors 8 is due to get a Vita version. Those are the ones I'm aware of at least, there's probably loads of niché Japanese RPGs floating around the net with maybe localisation dates too but I tend to believe them when they happen... Really though we don't need much more. They could stop making Vita games tomorrow (or at least after the FFX remake, I'm really looking forward to that), and I'd still say it very worth it, especially with the PSP and PSOne games on PSN, there's no way you could play everything on the Vita. If you count it's digital library the Vita has a bigger library than the 3DS by quite a long way, and no where near as much shovelwear. My top system of this gen so far, and very underrated, seriously, get one you won't regret it.
Anyone convinced?
