I'd imagine the meaning along the lines of the dreamcast. Loosing support in a short time and the company ending their run of making consoles afterwards.

I don't see that happening in the bone's or wii U's case, perhaps there is more to being doomed..

Here in vgchartz Doomed means it is not selling well. In other gaming sites like ign doomed means little to no games/3rd party support like in wii u's case.

Seriously though 99% of people (Thats a real percentage, I did tests) call DOOMED way to early for what is mearly an underpreformance. Hell sometimes its doing well but still DOOMED!!1!1!!

doomed.. (talking consoles) means that the sale is very bad and go down week to week.. and there is now posible way to turn it around..

(and yes.. clearly not the case with U and One)

Well for the general word google tells me this.

In accordance to the purpose of the consoles. They are tools of business. I assume they are making money and not loosing it so I wouldn't call it unfortunate.

It's probably an inescapable fate for them both to be outsold by playstation, but this isn't a sport were nothing but absolute dominance is acceptable. It's a business and once it's make cash it's doing what it should be doing.

I guess for diehard fanboys, it's a sport. SO I guess like Joe says, "it means what you want it to"

it's actually just a fun word for us to describe the glee of a competitor's product to do badly :)
