Yeah...that big one of health care is a real pain though.  Be happy to pay a bit more on games and all as opposed to having to spend $160 a month for basic insurance that covers next nothing so a single hospital visit could easily be in thousands.  There are trade offs in any society.

That's true. Free healthcare is a great benefit (even if the quality isn't that great!) but again, our income tax is slightly higher. So overall, with taxes, our disposable income is lower.

Why does square-enix suck? Basically everything they've done since FFXII, except the first version of tomb raider. But it's a joke that they sold the "definitive edition" full price.

Not everywhere. The sales tax in Alberta is only 7%, pretty much the same as the US.

Still 13% tax evens out with 10% savings with conversions about. :-/

Notice how I didn't say FFXIV: A Realm Reborn... The Original FFXIV was terrible even with the most basic of services missing  + it was a subcription service... And no, its wasn't a beta, cause betas don't require you to pay a monthly fee on top of the one time payment of $40-$60 and FF13:LR is just bad, the story is bad, the characterization is bad, the battle system is good but the side quests are boring and the main quest is also pretty boring

I rarely buy games day 1 because I almost never play them day 1. Bought XenoBlade & Mass Effect 3 Day 1 and didn't play them untul May/July respectively. Bought Tales of Xillia week 1 last year because I just got a new PS3, and I still haven't played it because I need to finish Vesperia first.

He'll be lucky to get it for $30 more on eBay. To my surprise, one of my Lightning Returns CE copy sold for $240, and I expect Drakengard 3 to be more valuable since it's extremely limited and no retail release in Europe. That's why I ordered two copies.

Anyways, a couple of people over at the SE forums are still waiting for their Lightning Returns copies, and they're all from Canada. And for those who received it got custom fees.
