Killzone SF, Outlast, Knack, Resogun, Warframe, Blacklight Retribution, Contrast, Don't Starve, and soon to be Final Fantasy XIV, MLB The Show 2014, and Infamous SS actually match your list in quality and pass it in quantity.  Furthermore if you refer to my list of upcoming 2014 and 2015 games for PS4 vs X1, you will see that not only does the PS4 have more to offer already, but the gap will widen in the future if MS doesn't get on the ball.

I want to see the X1 doing better, I really do.  But lying to yourself isn't going to make it happen.

All new systems have droughts. XBONE and PS4 are not going to be exceptions.

 

I think game releases during the first year usually aren't bad at all, but during this time people just have a feeling of needing to play their new systems. Add on the fact the libraries are still super small and people seem to desire big releases every month.

Most of those are stuff you could get over a year ago on other platforms.  Very simply put, i played them before PS4 was even released.

To bad Halo is the exclusive king. Gears is good and many on the way have a lot of potential. Project Spark also looks impressive.


Project Spark is on PC. Its not exclusive and I have no clue what you're going on about with two titles. Microsoft is running back to Gears because their actual new IP fell through. Shows you how afraid they are of doing things themselves. I love Gears so it doesn't matter to me whether it gets another iteration. As a company when it comes to creativity MS is weak, thats all I am saying. More Halo and Gears doesn't bother me at all. They are dependent on them. If I had their level of dependence I would do the same thing.

I 100% agree with the above when it comes to both the X1 and PS4.  The only people crying are the ones that don't usually early adopt and don't understand why they don't have the same options out of the box as those who wait a year or two before going next gen.  With launch records broken on both sides however, it was obvious that this would happen with so many people jumping gens so early however.

And there was a reason i left off stuff like Crimson dragon and Lococycle.  But you can list Knack, sure


Only on PC (one PS3), and not everyone games on PC.  Furthmore if you are going to make that argument, Project Spark and Titanfall can't be used to defend X1.  =P

I however take into consideration ALL console exclusives on both sides as I only care about the truth and don't feel the need to play damage controle like XBots do.

Because he doesnt know of any games that are coming out between when titanfall comes out and the fall... Like he says in his op... Which is why i asked if he was just talking about exclusives... I dont really see how you could think his post was about anything other than games, because his the title and the op are geared towards one question, what is coming after titanfall...
