Yeah this is exactly my opinion as well. I do like killzone but I think a new IP made would be better than a KZ sequel.

at least we know we are getting a new IP from them, and it isnt that far off either (most likely). so even if they do another KZ, i wont be that upset

The only way I'd want it to continue would be if they handed it to Guerrilla Cambridge, who did Mercenary. The main studio have had four goes at making a great FPS and have failed to do so.

Sink. The franchise will never be as good again as it was those first couple months after KZ2 before it was ruined when people realized how broken it was and started spamming rockets and spawn camping the shit out of everything. Guerrilla is kind of like Crytek, they make great looking games that have heavily flawed gameplay.
