PSA for PS4 owners. Doublecheck your Music Unlimited settings on your shiny, new PS4s.

The free trial automatically sets up atomatic renewals if you do not opt out before the free trial ends.

My cousin only just noticed a payment for the service in her Vita's download history, 3 months after buying the PS4.

Technically, you should always read Ts&Cs. But for a free trial? I wonder how many users have been caught in this trap?

I knew this from the start
It was in the Ts&Cs lol

Proud Sony Rear Admiral

Almost all free trials have automatic renewals.

Pretty much every subscription service for which I've used a Free Trial does this. You have to go out of your way to cancel and that is what they are hoping for. :P

Hmm, pie.

What everyone else is saying

I forgot once and it renewed and then I cancelled afterwards.

Pretty much all free trial do that. Happen to me when i got my PS4. NEVER AGAIN.

this.

xbl does it.  ps+ does it.  netflix does it.   the one that fucked me was freecreditreports.com.   you can sign up online but you have to call to cancel but only during the week and only during like 4 hours in the day and the line is always fucking busy and there is a time-out that kicks you if you are on hold for too long.   i literally had my bank change my card's numbers so get that charge off my monthly statement because i couldn't get them to fucking cancel the "service".

be warned,..  freecreditreport.com is a fucking scam!!

It's not nice but it's what everyone does...
