Read that it was apparently going over it's budget and was pretty much like destiny. Disappointing for sure, but it was also rumored there was 2 new IP's + God of War coming. Now with one new IP cancelled, we have 1 new IP + God of War

Such a shame. Guess we won't see anything from them at E3 then, or at most a teaser for another God of War game.

If this gen is shorter than last as everyone expects then the two games they are currently working on may be the only games they release this entire gen. Hope that's not the case and at least one of them is reasonably far along.

Good thing is he doesn't state anything as fact.  I know some people don't like trusting insiders, but for me personally I trust them until something comes out that totally contradicts everything they say.  And I always treat it as rumors where as some treat them as fact.

Must have sucked, they probably finally played it and realized it was boring.

4 years and nothing to show... makes sense to me

Its pretty clear the lay offs were because of the cancelation and not the other way around, so ppl saying that its sad that the IP got canceled should be happy cause if it got canceled after quite a bit time working on it was either because it was sucking terribly or because the team wasnt managing to get the game to work properly at all.

Releasing crap would be worse for the studio then not releasing anything.
