:/

im not a native english speaker

but where is stated sci-fi game?

Angeli’s experience indicates that Sony Santa Monica’s new game could be in the sci-fi genre, but its exact nature remains unknown.

With the reasonable assumption that sony didnt sack the best employees and kept the worse, why would MS want a bunch of second rate developers?

So you admit there was a game, and it was cancelled

End of discussion.

They own Turn 10, cmon your better then that. Unless you are referring to Flight Simulator or something I think its petty to ignore the pedigree of Forza (at least in the 360 gen). No mention for Halo? The top exclusive FPS among the big 3 by a looooong shot?

"MS will take up the table scraps as well"

Is that how you honestly view that? Keeping talented people employed and acquiring staff to make games, something you ALWAYS criticize MS for not doing.......I mean there is just no pleasing you. Even something like MS hiring from Irrational and Sony SM you find a way to shit on MS.

They created Turn 10. Its the only company MS created that has top level status in development. They make great racers. I didnt enjoy them as much as Project Gotham, but hey what can one do?  I said that I like that MS is making an Allstar staff. If they lack creativity and wont put out new IP's might as well stick with the devil they do know which i focusing on popular IP's that they do have. Everyone knew Microsoft was purely dependent on Epic to keep making Gears games for them because they couldnt put out a hot IP themselves. Eventually the time came to buy Gears because Epic wasnt about to waste their time. Epic is a creative company and wants to move on to bigger and better things. Microsoft wants to hold them down because when it comes to being creative they are very dependent on outside studios to think for them. At least they got two great studios workers to help them work on a big title. That big title just so happens to be my favorite Xbox game period.

They make great simulators.....many reviewers and sim experts can attest to that. But simulation involves driving so you aren't exactly wrong. They also made 343 from the ground up composed of talent from various top studios/ex Bungie staff. How can you speak of lacking creativity when they are making in-house Project Spark?

Epic wants to do something different. Nuff said. Gears was a 90+ franchise that was bigger then freaking Uncharted last gen......so saying bigger and better is highly debatable. Different is more the operative term as Epic simply wants to move on creatively.

And as we keep going back to the same point.....whether MS secures new IP's in-house or via contracts to keep it off PS4.......it is the exact same end-result for the gamer. Ryse, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, Titanfall, Quantum Break, Project Spark, Cobalt, Sunset Overdrive, Fantasia: Music Evolved, D4, timed exclusivity of PVZ: GW, Below.

All while beefing up the effort and talent into Halo, Fable, Forza, and Gears......the holy quad of the Xbox lineup ;P. Kinect Sports too. MS is certainly trying and succeeding to give both new and old IPs, beefing up their staff (unproven or not), with variety in genre to boot.

I fail to see how Microsoft is succeeding at creating new IP. Securing them...yes, but that was never my argument. I've already attested that Microsoft is the best at securing IP's because they lack the ability to create them on par with their competition. Its not a problem as I said because Gears is the main franchise I bought the 360 for. I was just saying, because Microsoft seems to put stock into affiliating themselves with Sony workers. Sony never seems to share the sentiment even though they respect Microsoft as a business.

Think the in-house Project Spark alone is a great counter-argument. Sure we shall see how it turns out, but it looks like it blows LBP out of the water from what weve seen so far.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

@ fusioncode.

Sony owe more than 60 billion in debt. They posted another big loss.

I was saying good for xbox fans that we get more talented devs.

My opinions dont require your approval. And im not here to change your opinion. You need to chill a bit.

Complete bullshit. Sony is 17b in debt, not 60. That's exactly what I'm talking about, you keep spreading this crap that's not even true.

Yes, $17bn debt is correct

With about $18bn in cash and short term deposits

Which is awful.

Total liabilities are $127bn, assets just $150bn.

BUT... and it is a big BUT, net tangible assets are just $10bn, you know what?  that was $20bn two short years ago.  If it drops by the same amount again in the next two years they are technically insolvent.

Cash reserves also down by 30% (from $12bn to $8bn) in just two years.

They need to turn this around very very quickly.  Some of the posts in here about the Sony financial state are bewildering in their ignorance.

Thank you. All I wanted was a clarification on the number.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

I dunno about that but it looks like the decent free to play game. Little Big Planet still holds a place in many peoples hearts. I played Plants vs Zombies today at my friends and it was rather fun. Nothing big, just simple and fun.
