Well just fyi the last gen versions are also 60fps. |
Ah, it must not be a very graphically impressive game. My point is still valid though just less valid lol

No... is my answer :)
If you have played Sniper Elite 2, it's not a particularly adventurous game, and if 3 is anything like that (corridor/hidden corners where you can spawn in and out soldiers, limited enemies), I dont see why it would have trouble running 1080p, and that has nothing to do with the SDK, but the type of games this company makes.
I would say this, it's wouldnt be the first or the last time a company says something positive about a console and then a different thing happens. I mean look at Kojima (sp) one minute he is saying there is no difference between the PS4/XboxOne, and now he is saying that the PS4 is better. PR is a bitch, and when you are trying to get companies on board you say positive things about each console.
Im not surprised. Bethesda was one of the devs at launch to talk about the Poor SDK and bottleneck of the 32 mb ESRAM.
They are also saying the new SDK makes the ESRAM issue for Resolution basically a non issue.
PS4 version was already announced 1080p/60. I reckon the reason they waited to say the Xbox One version was because they were implementing the SDK ESRAM efficiencies. Making sure the new SDK did as promised, before announcing it.
So no tis doesn't surprise those of us who actually listened to the developers on why Xbox One res was lower at launch titles.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Agree.
But the new arguement will be and has already been seen - " Its a cross gen game, hardly surprising. "
All the while forgetting Ghosts was a cross gen game and looked significantly worde visually than Wolfenstein. And yet Ghosts was 720p on Xbox One.
Because remember, where Xbox One is concerned we have to NOT believe developers but believe 50% bro.

You are in for disappointment if you think an SDK can make up for only having 32 MBs of ESRAM. I did not know this game was 60 FPS on the PS3/360, it would have been absolutely pathetic of the Xbox One not to be 1080p and 60 FPS

Ohh yussss we're back in the PS4 power is meaningless time once again.
It will be glorious! Can't wait for the truth to come out as the poet said!
So it is happening...PS4 preorder.
Greatness Awaits!
Look at all the haters, you would think someone eat their birthday cake.
We all know Xbox One can hit the mark. Launch titles do not define generation, nor do launch sales, nor do all the other bull that has been put into stone.
The amount of chest pounding around here has got pathetic.

Suppose you have an insane good pc which can run crysis 4, but your os is fucked by a virus or whatever complication, the game won't run aswell as when the os would be 100%
and yes this can affect performance very very much
