They're different stories but loosely connected. In P4 you visit the P3 town (in P3P you visit the P4 town) but it's just something minor.

Its nothing like SMT? i got the game but my brother has only played it! (i will soon, just finishing up 2 other rpg's)

SMT stories are loosely connected as well. But Persona is more of a lighter RPG with visual novel-esque elements and SMT is more of a darker dungeon crawler type game.

persona and smt is your favorite jrpg right? Whenever there is news on them your the first one on the case :p

One of my favorites. I think I might like Tales a bit more (at least compared to most SMT games. With Persona it's close.)

Tales of games are great, not only is Tales of Symphonia (the first one) my favorite of the franchise (well i only played 4) its one of my favorite in terms of gameplay+story of all jrpg

Have you ever played Arc Rise Phatasia by any chance?
