Gen 8 leader in 3 short months, few predicted that.

Well if that's the case then why dont people stop with the Nintendo doom threads? That is if they know business and how video game company's make their money, which is off software not the hardware. Hardware will always lose the company money for the first 2-3 years its released. So all you Sony FanBoys praise your hardware domination, and Nintendo will just keep making games everyone wants to play.

You do realize that the Playstation and Xbox divisions were profitable this last quarter right? They each made money during a hardware launch. I also find it hilarious how you said we should stop talking about sales and then you started talking about how great Nintendo's software sells. Which still isn't going to save Nintendo from making a major loss this fiscal year. That last comment will get you banned by the way. Way to go! 

And I will enjoy PS4's hardware domination this gen, I'll also get to play plenty of awesome games on it. 



How will that last comment get me banned? Did I offend you in that comment or say anything derogatory (spell check).

@aryu, ps4 sold out at some large retailers as of monday, not in first or 2nd day. new shipment arrived today, but PS4 will drop hard no matter what (because software lineup is pretty week). I think it can drop ever harder than Vita (Vita sold 75K or so in 2nd week). Can't wait to see what will happen next.

I hope you didnt come to this site to talk about stuff you could talk about in any other game forum. This is a sales site, please keep it mostly about sales. Does nintendoom articles really upset you? You have to live with it, we doomed the vita, the 3ds, the ps3 and soon the xbone.


It doesn't upset me, but I do find it annoying at times. To go with my comment just above yours, PS2 the highest selling console of all time, their highest game comes in at 17. Which wasnt even a game they msde. Sony highest game is at 27. You would think selling 134 million plus worldwide you would have a game crack at least the top 15.

It does upset you, you're a Nintendo fanatic, you're paranoid and think it's unfair that so many nintendoom articles float around. you're hostile and point me to your own comment where you make that clear: "Go onto the most software sold all time and guess who has all ten spots, thats right Nintendo. I know it's a bit of a shock when you leave the shores of Nintendo centric forums but damn.

Um, it's still sold out. In parts of Europe, it's sold out till March. Yea totally doomed...


It's still sold out almost everywhere. Sony is saying until April. Don't bother with him, we had this big thing  the other day and he just doesn't get it.

Then it probably has some production issues occurring ... I want NPD numbers for february to prove vgc wrong otherwise the PS4 might not be the real deal as we had hoped.

Pretty much bang on with my prediction.

Not sure why you'd predict so much more though. It's sold almost exactly the same as the Wii U did, and will likely see a similar drop thereafter. It may not go quite as low, but hovering around the 10-15k line seems reasonable.
