The price cut is understandable, but the Titanfall giveaway suggests total panic mode at MS right now

I doubt it. According to this site they are stitting close to 300 k Titanfall Preorders. So it its safe to imagine no drastic measures in needed yet in North america

It's bit late, make it 299 and I might bite. Truth is I know it's underpowered, Kinect well couldn't care less. Might result in small bump, but then back to normal and when the ps4 next huge shipment arrives the week of Infamous in the UK it's going to be a massacre.

UK became very interesting. Want to see weeks leading up to, week of, and weeks after this move by Microsoft.

Yeah hopefullly, but does seem crazy to hold back stock when your not currently meeting demand.
