Does Wii U still have a chance to outsell PS4?

Yes 232 22.61%

No 792 77.19%

Total:1,024

Technically there is always a chance, but I voted 'No' because realistically the PS4 should have an easy win this generation unless anything seriously goes wrong for some reason or Nintendo unexpectedly strikes gold with something. Personally I don't believe there's going to be a storm at sea though.

Sony just hit the mark it seems, by providing exactly what gamers wanted. If only it would get a couple games I want so I can buy it too .

Nintendo can make smash, kart, and 3d mario a yearly installment and that still wouldnt replace the 3rd party theyve lost. So no. they wont. And those games wont push HW as much as people think.

ps4 has first place in the bag. Wii U vs Xbox one may be pretty close for 2nd

WII U // PC // 3ds XL // VITA

No, game over, there is no chance. And the sooner you accept that the sooner you won't feel upset and frustrated when you'll see Wii Us weekly sales.
I was once in your place, I once thought the Vita may be a success, I waited and waited for the sales to pick up, waited for 3rd parties to show up, only to see sub - 40k weeks and some obscure japanese games, tops. After some time, I think the tipping point was an NPD report with Vita < 25k and I embraced the idea that Vita failed in the West, and you know what? It set me free. I take the Vita for what it is, everything above is a bonus. Weekly sales aren't dissapointing anymore.
And the more people accepted that, the less Vita doom threads popped up, cause there is no disscusion when everyone agrees, it becomes beating a dead horse which is boring. It's only up to Nintendo fans how soon Wii U doom threads will dissappear. Right now I'm waiting for another batch cause Nintendo fans hoped Donkey Kong will be a success story.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

Time to make another chalkboard!

From the Xbox 360 yes. And that's all they needed to do. Hence why PS3 has gradually caught up and overtaken 360. However, Microsoft has also invested in 1st party this gen, much more so than Sony. Sony needs to step up their game with 1st party. For the first time in history, Microsoft actually has a 1st party advantage over Sony. And they look like they're going to keep it well into 2015 at the least. Sony has a few things, but nothing that outdoes Microsoft. If Microsoft can gain traction once it gets more 1st parties, it'll steal market share more from Sony than from Nintendo. Which would leave the race much, much closer if Nintendo can gain some traction as well. But hey, wouldn't a close race be much more fun to watch than a Wii or PS2 style domination race? I for one hope it turns out that way, just for the fun of watching it. Otherwise I don't care that much. I get all the games I want either way, I just come here because for some reason I find watching charts to be really interesting.

So much wrong with this post. First off, MS isnt even close to Sony first party. Sony had Knack and KZ when MS had KI and forza. Then sony is getting Infamous (second party) l, mlb the show and the order 1886 while MS is getting.... maybe halo 2 anniversary. And lrts not forget the fact that Sony has handhelds to think about also (tearaway). The Wii hardly dominated too. It never got 50% market share and dropping closrr to 33% week after week. Ps2 recieved 75% market share (thats domination)

no chance in hell unless it pulls out some miracle to capture gamers.

I doubt it. A lot of people interested in Mario Kart and Smash. Bros already have the Wii U.

A little correction, inFamous is as 1st party as it gets. Sony owned IP made by a 1st party studio that is part of the WWS.

Overall? I dont think its possible.

The PS4 already own and theres nothing the other 2 can do at this point. The difference in sales is too great.

In a single week? Maybe.
