And I agree that those pictures don't really prove much of anything. It's as if the moment PS4s hit the shelves and they don't disappear instantly, then they're "just sitting on the shelves". Maybe those pictured sold out an hour later, we don't know.

Considering how massively popular this console is, I have much doubt to any "readily available" claims.

No, this is just a comment to those saying that there is no PS4 to be fine in America til April. For Japan, the Vita sales will probably rise and the PS4 will do fine, but it'll be a while til it reach 3DS numbers, I think.

Well, I never said it has no value, all I am saying is that they should have picked a better game if they really ment that "appology." Now that free extra year of coverage is awesome, nothing against that! (I also didn't know that was included) But they could have given Japan any other game and it would have been a better choice to sweeten whatever "damage" they did (which might not be any)... Imo, it just feels as though they are saying, "we know you guys have been waiting for the ps4 for a few months longer, so here is a throwaway game thats not selling very well in other parts of the world so hope you enjoy it." Which to me is unacceptable...

Also that link wasn't for you, it was for the other dude... I guess people can say, oh I enjoyed knack and other people can also say, oh I enjoyed Duke Nukem forever (which has the same metascore) but majority of the people would disagree... My issue isn't they gave them a free game, my issue is that they gave them that game

LOL I noticed that too. I wonder how that affects the stores that people are saying still have stock.

The thing is I think it launched with around 10-15 games just there, some of which are Fps stuff which would be more like a spit in the face for Jap buyers of the system, other games are Assassins Creed 4 and Resogun which are either ports of last gen stuff or smaller titles, Knack is sorta the middle of the road, full game experience but wouldn't really be the reason you would buy a PS4 in the first place. I think they didn't want to give away their biggest chances of selling a game on launch day and also not go with something their fans there would not like out of the box.

Sorry for defending this a bit much btw, I'm just a sucker for free stuff, been getting games with gold for the past few months and the odd game which is something that has bad metascores or is something I would have never bought I still end up playing for a few hours and enjoying or someone at my household does. Value for money always comes into how I game, free stuff wins.

It's a digital copy of the game btw just incase you thought they were recalling unsold copies from elsewhere to just stick in the boxes since you mentioned how it hadn't been wanted in other markets.
