Omg that is such a a good idea! Not even kidding either. that really would make an awesoem countdown thread or whatever. Thinking outside the box, I like it. 

So Wii U & XOne are at about 9.2 million combined right now... PS4 is sitting at 5.4 as of Feb 15th and no Japan launch counted. I think it can do it but won't be this year... (or at least that would be insane if it did do it this year). I really would like to keep a close eye on this to see if it actually comes to fruition! 

So very soon PS4 will be first place for good this generation :( . Well that makes it kinda boring, Oh well, the fight for 2nd place between X1 and WiiU could be fun.

Regardless of what the sales are both the Wii U and PS4 will get doom threads as a result lol.

I am starting to feel good about numbers in Japan though. Anecdotal evidence really sounds like what happened more or less in the west.

Actually the anecdotal evidence(mainly pictures) made me less confident.

The PS4 is still sold out in most stores in the west. Stock is pretty tight. I doubt Sony would over-ship to the region unless they made a massive screwup with their estimations. If PS4s are still easy to find come Sunday morning, then I'd get worried.

I think in 2 weeks or so.

It needs 300K. COMG preorders point a a little more than 200K PS4 sold FW (to be conservative). And given PS4 gains 100K over U in the West, yes, I should overtake it next week just as I predicted in another thread that I can't find right now.
