Forums - Nintendo - Would CoD going exclusive to Wii U be one of the biggest vgames disaster of all time?

Wii U would be saved.

Activision would be bankrupt within 5 minutes of it's release.

Let's wait and see what happens when Bayo2 gets released. That will be a great example.
But I believe it would sell half of what it would do on PS4 or Xbone... Which would be very good for Wii U! Because there could be people willing to switch consoles just for a game, but there are also a ton of people that would be pissed and just not get it and hope for a future multiplat-release.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

This is stupid.

It would probably sell as well as BLOPS II and Ghosts have on the Wii U...

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

That obviously would not happen. I am sure at least a million in sales.

If it did sell as much as BLOPS 2 and Ghost did on Wii U, then I would explode.

If Nintendo worked with Activision to bring an EXCLUSIVE FPS to the Wii U, THEN you would be on to something...

Yes.

Anyhow, it would effectively kill off Call of Duty. Aren't the sales already going downhill?

That's an interesting question...um, I think either COD would sell significantly less or the WiiU would be guaranteed second place this generation. Perhaps a COD + GTA exclusivity deal would push the WiiU to the No,1 spot past the ps4.
