This doesn't sound good for the PS4 ...

undertracked as usual...

Really ? I thought vgchartz was spot on for the PS4 according to January NPD ...

Close to spot on in the US. Undertracked by over 100k in January WW, though. (Sony announced over 5.3m sold yesterday, when we had it at something like 5.19m - same date, if you're wondering)

That really isn't much undertracking ... It's well within 10% the range.

I said in January. Sony last announced 4.2m as of Dec 28 and VGC adjusted close to that number. So they only had a month and a half to track and still were off by over 100k. Without having calculated it exactly, I think that is more than a 10% error.

We'll see just soon enough, no need to overreact.

Wii U is released in about 400% more countries than the Xbox One which means the Xbox One is actually doing four times better than the Wii U! Go Xbox One!!!

48k x 4 = 192k.  xbone is destroying ps4 and titanfall hasn't even launched yet!!!

Lmao, I just read the whole thread and seeing "you" say "no need to overract" is pretty funny. All you've been doing in this thread is making a big deal out of something that has a rational explanation from what we know. But whatever floats your boat.

Getting defensive now are you ?

We'll see soon enough if the sony fans are actually right ...

PS4s harsh drop can really only be explained with low stock because of the japanese launch, a nearly 35k drop week over week just doesn't add up otherwise.

That will never happen. Nintendo Sold the Wii to people who had never bought a console before, and will never buy a console again. I suspect no console will have the first couple of years the Wii had again.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

I don't expect PS4 to be match the WIIs first couple years but just it's first year ...
