Can I ask why? Both games are from the same publisher and BD is supposed to be alot better than LR.

Man you are running out of ideas to mock Nintendo...at least use something that makes sense. |
I wasn't mocking Nintendo but the stupid journalists saying that LR is crap and that BD is the new FF. People voted with their wallets and proved them wrong.

Maybe because most of the customers aren't loyal to one console manufacturer ? What you think may be "great" doesn't exactly hold with me ... I want to see some sustained legs otherwise the PS4 may not be the real deal ... |
No disrespect but you sound like a doom monger.

Out of all this mess the PS4 is the only shot at this point to saving the gaming industry. While the 3DS did good it's waning really quickly which makes me doubt that it will hit 100 million and 70 million sounds quite problematic at this point given the drops. If the PS4 doesn't get around the 100 mill mark then gaming TRULY FUCKED ... |
Yeah, I agree, it would be fucked. But it is too early to call it still. But I am afraid my favorite activity is in for a serious contraction... I hope I'm wrong...

PS3 was only out in Japan and the US at this point. Does XBONE have anything this year that'll bump its sales as much as the European launch bumped PS3 sales? |
That is true, however, the PS3 sunk like a stone only a few weeks after the EU launch so the overall figures for the year weren't very high and the One won't need an amazing baseline to match it when all is said and done. And I do believe that the One can match these CY numbers if MS pulls their heads out of their posterior by the time Q4 rolls on. The One has potential for sure, but it needs a key to unlock it, unlike the PS4, which manages to sell very well on its own and without much in the way of system selling software. It's not as simple as the PS4 "eating all of the One's sales" either; the PS4 sales aren't really that extreme when viewed in context with the likes of the Wii (people are shouting about supply constraints, but that didn't stop the Wii from having over 250k average weeks through Q2 and Q3 2007), so there are definitely people waiting to upgrade, I don't know why so many are assuming that the PS4 is stealing all the 360 customers as well as retaining all the PS3 customers; it's a very unrealistic notion, in my opinion.

Maybe I do but that's because these numbers altogether aren't doing too good ...

I doubt that Sony is with holding that much stock just for japan ... |
I agree with you.
People are overestimating PS4's impact in Japan.

Well, if you were ever around during last gen then you know Sony is very good at doing that.
