If Microsoft didn't know what was cool, they wouldn't have acquired exclusivity of said titles. They aren't really that good at making games. Their best asset is their eye for games they haven't made at all. Halo, Gears, Titanfall, Rare titles (and others) are a legacy which shows Microsofts strengths. Its self evident they are better at picking and choosing from other peoples product than their own.

Hum...You're basically saying they are useless ... They have to learn how to make their own exclusive games without buying them to be useful to gamers and to get a real and proper legacy.

This is why i agree with the man who said industry is better with sony domination, it will prevent microsoft to buy 3rd party games and force them to create their own games so it will bring more games and variety to the industry.

Im happy with those DK numbers, should give Wii U a decent boost. I expect it to be over Xbox One globally next week, assuming we dont get any big adjustments.

Well seriously, the only four games to have proper success from Microsoft for core gamers was Project Gotham, Forza & Fable with a possibility of Crackdown, but lets be real now that they have Gears they have no need for Crackdown.  Microsoft only cares about what profits more, not whether the game was actually good. They have a great eye for finding what can sell well with market demographics. The games Microsoft sees ahead of time and acquires are far greater in quality and overall value to their consumers. Sony sucks at scouting games and acquiring their exclusivity. They are better at working in tandem with companies and coming up with their own projects, much in the same vein as Nintendo, but with a greater eye for storyline detail and variety.

Microsoft acquired a bunch of studios recently, this cant be for nothing , if they wanted, they could create new strong ip ( too bad they didnt let black tusk create the new ip instead of geow)
